I bought this program thinking I could make nice slideshows with transitions and effects to play on my dvd player (vcd). Unfortunately transitions and effects don't work when you make a video cd, when you go to broderbund help page they tell you that's how it's supposed to be. If I had known that I would not have gotten this program. I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 for its easy interface and compatibility with Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0, the video editing software. Photoshop 4.0 has a great cataloguing system that allows for easy tracking and sorting of videos and photos. This feature is particularly flexible because it allows you to create your own ways of identifying and grouping photos and videos which are easily cross-referenced and retrievable. The Scrapper's Guide was an unexpected bonus because it's got a video tutorial which goes much further than a manual can alone in teaching techniques. The Scrapper's Guide teaches the basics that you need to know for any Photoshop project -- not just scrapbooking. It's more fun to watch a demonstration than it is just to read about it in my opinion. Minor drawback: Photoshop 4.0's customizing email function for sharing photos is not compatible with all email address books. Two star rating is a fair assessment. Beware those thinking about purchasing, the Using Bibble guide that is included with the CD is very restricted in providing information on its main functions.

For example, the Understanding Section under Advanced Image Editing,has 10 " understandings" covered over 4 pages in approximately 1800 words. Just take one of these,Highlight Recovery, two paragraphs (120 words).

Bibble is confusing, particularly in the layout and panel section, additionally it devotes considerable (excessive)space to batch and queue processing.

I've owned this product in its infancy many years ago. It's unique at what it does, enlarge original graphics without loss of quality. It couldn't be easier to use since it's a plugin for Adobe graphic editors like Photoshop & Photoshop Elements. It has changed the way I shoot my photographs because cropping is no longer a concern. In fact I use Genuine Fractals before starting my edits to end up with a cropped photo the same resolution as an out of camera original. Great stuff & great vendor!
