I started with Pinnacle 8 Studio, which had a terrible memory management, such as: program is ending abrupt, music is gone or titles.... all because of software problems. Because I needed something to make videos, I later bought version 10, thinking that Pinnacle has fixed the memory problem in the meantime. Not at all, actually I could not find out why I paid another 140 bucks for this crap. Because of version 10, I needed to fix my computer twice and than went back to version 8. OK here is the thing, if you have a video is probably 2 or 3 minutes, it might work. I needed the video with titles, photos with transition and music for about 10 to 12 minutes. Just forget it, don't even consider to look at it.
Pinnacle has good ideas and has all the features you need, that's why you are enthusiastic, but still, the program is technically absolutely incapable. It's also not possible to burn a DVD in high quality without any mistakes or even have a break up while burning. On top, Pinnacle software screwed up my computer twice.
