Adobe Photoshop CS3 [OLD VERSION] Top Quality

Photoshop CS3 is made for professional photo editing. I would have given it 5 stars if not for some missing improvements. The memory management does not work automatic, nor does it suggest one definite optimum setting. It let's the user guess and try what's best. It seems that Photoshop runs fastest if you give it around 50% of the total system RAM memory. I encounter still the same problem with CS3 and Vista, as with older Photoshop versions on older operating systems. When opening one file at a time, editing, saving, next file, and so on, it seems to clog up the computer after a while, and I need to close and re-start Photoshop. I'm working with files hundreds of megabytes large. I recommend to look at a chart of keyboard shortcuts, that can save you tons of time. For example, zoom in/out, brush size, switch windows, switch application, history one step back.
