Discount Adobe Video Collection Pro 2.5 - Premier Pro 1.5, After Effects Pro 6.5, Audition 1.5, Encore DVD 1.5, Photoshop CS [Old Version]

I bought this mostly for Audition, but also to update my other software as well. While this version is technically ancient by technology standards it still works well when paired with good hardware. I am doing some video projects on it now and I must say that I am highly impressed!
Even though this version of Premiere it is old as dirt I am still able to edit HD material on it (granted I cannot import HD material direct from camera) through the VFW settings. But with my little Core2Duo I am able to do real-time editing for most fades and basic effects (premiere is not made for doing advanced effects and filtering anywas, best to do that in Ae, or Virturaldub/AVS which is free)
Aftereffects is still klunkey, as to be expected, but it gets the job done if you are patient with it.
Audition (which I bought this for) is awesome! Considering this was their first audio editing software release they did an excellent job. Just the noise reduction settings alone has saved my life on several occasions. The other built in plugins get the job done for most cleaning projects, and it supports many 3rd party filters and effects. The big downfall for this however is that I upgraded to win7, and now am unable to record audio because Microsoft changed their audio drivers too much. Still great for cleaning and editing audio for premiere though which is most of what I used it for in the first place.
Encore DVD. It works, and you technically CAN do anything you want. Wanting to spend the time however is a different story. Surely their newer DVD authoring software is better.
Photoshop. It is old. Would probably annoy me not to have the newer hardware support, but I think I have used it once so far, so it doesn't matter to me much.

All in all if you want quality software on the cheap I highly suggest buying some of their legacy software. Everything still works in win7 with exception of recording in Audition, but rather than the multi-thousand-dollar price tag that this originally packaged as, you should be able to find it for a few hundred. Once again, if you are an AV professional and will be using this everyday then you will want something newer that supports 64bit*, 4+core, and graphics acceleration; But if you are just learning Adobe software, or just do side projects like I do then this will get you a nice looking end product with a little more rendering time.

*this will still work under a 64bit OS with 64bit hardware, it just will not take advantage of any acceleration or precision that you could get with newer packages that have native support for this.Get more detail about Adobe Video Collection Pro 2.5 - Premier Pro 1.5, After Effects Pro 6.5, Audition 1.5, Encore DVD 1.5, Photoshop CS [Old Version].
