My review is really for Iview, which became Expression Media after Microsoft bought it. That's why it's so good, Microsoft had nothing to do with its design! Now let's hope they don't ruin it.
This is a great product for storing, managing (annotating), and retrieving your images. Yes there is Aperture and Lightroom but I feel Iview is far easier and quicker to use. The above products offer too much, making them both quite slow and complicated compared to Iview. Once I have images ready (organized and annotated) I then open them in photoshop to adjust and convert them. It works just fine.
2207 update: Well, now that Microsoft bought Iview the show is over. They no longer provide RAW updates. So, I've switched to Adobe Lightroom, which is actually much better anyway.Get more detail about Microsoft Expression Media (Win/Mac) [OLD VERSION].
